Noel Foundation Community Grants Available

With your program and our support, let’s grow our community together—one civic project at a time!

ABOUT NOEL FOUNDATION

Incorporated in 1972, Noel Foundation is a private foundation that supports Caddo and Bossier
parishes by funding projects by qualifying organizations that provide opportunities for individuals in
our community.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Noel Foundation supports community projects in Caddo and Bossier parishes that benefit our community, particularly in these areas:

• Education
• Social Services
• Cultural Arts
• Community Development

PROGRAMS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

• Benefit residents of Caddo and Bossier parishes in Louisiana
• Use creative, innovative problem solving
• Focus on areas not adequately served or funded by others in the community
• Be a 501(c)(3) organization with proof of tax-exempt status
• Need funding for specific programs or projects
• Show sound organizational and financial management
• Are collaborative in nature ensuring resources are shared and the impact of the grant is multiplied in the community

NOEL FOUNDATION COMMUNITY GRANT DEADLINES

In the Spring and Fall of each year, Noel Foundation awards special community grants for civic projects that will help support and grow Caddo and Bossier parishes, both culturally and academically.

WHEN ARE GRANT APPLICATIONS DUE?

Grant applications are reviewed each year*:

       Spring Deadline – April 30
       Fall Deadline – October 31
*Should the submission date fall on a weekend or holiday, the deadline for application submission will be observed on the 1st Monday after the dates shown above.

Application Process:

1) Submit Completed Application:

Email applications and supporting materials to grants@jsnoelcollection.org.

2) Proof of Tax Exempt Status:

Provide a copy of your organization’s IRS determination letter verifying tax exempt status.

3) Site Visit or Application Follow-up:

Organizations will be contacted if more information or a site visit is necessary.

4) Notification:

Notification to grant recipients will be made by the chairman of the investment committee.

5) Recipients of Funding:

Organizations will be required to file a follow-up report that provides information about the accomplishments of the project, how the funds were used and how Noel Foundation was recognized for its support.
